Link to the Decision 2012–Elect St Louis’ Favorite Pet contest, which is going to feature one dog, one cat and “independent candidates” (hamsters?). At this point, I’m thinking I would much rather watch these guys debate each other until November. I bet they’re not going to cut Medicare or lie about their marathon time.
Let’s face it, I would probably vote for a dog over a human any day anyway–for the honesty factor, if nothing else. Too bad Seamus isn’t around anymore, maybe he could have been recruited.

Well of course you’d vote for a dog, it’s not like you’ve got Mitt Romney in your header!
Oddly enough Mitt’s dog, from all accounts, wouldn’t vote for him either.

Yeah, I find my dachsie way more charming than any politician out there
As far as poor Seamus goes, Mitt is not deserving of his vote…but I have a feeling he would get it anyway–dogs are weirdly loyal that way.

Normally I’d figure you’d have a post a day, but this election is actually pretty boring. Yes or no, pick one, go home. I don’t see how Romney has swayed anyone that Obama hadn’t already lost. I don’t see how there’s actually an issue here, which is where Romney has failed, that displays any great kind of difference or vision than was already presumed. One’s red, one’s blue. One’s smart as hell and the other will lead you there. Obama played a prolonged chess game with Hilary to win the nomination and he’s doing it again w/ Romney by giving him nothing to work with. Say what you will, but pretty savvy.

Sadly, I’m not really a post a day person. I post from time to time, depending on how much life gets in the way.
I don’t think this election is boring, but I do agree that most people have already made up their minds based on where they stand within the red/blue divide. Regardless of which arguments are made by the candidates, I doubt there will be much mind-changing going on. People either hate the current President or they don’t.
